Just a little funny doodle, this one, but a good illustration of our era of narcissistic hurry. This was hand drawn as usual, with a TOMBO ABT felt tip pen.

As I did in two previous illustrations, here I drew by hand, scanned, vectorialized and then colored in Adobe Illustrator. The result is quite sloppy, especially compared to some extra clean digital illustrations, but I don’t really mind.

Poor wolf. Why always the bad guy? What about the hunter, he’s pretty bad as well, huh? Well, this illustration belongs to our politically correct times: no need to warn our kids about wolves in the woods.

So, here it is: another previously drawn illustration rejected by the client (the same one as the previous color illustration i posted on this blog). Again, the technique here is hand drawing, 0.5 line inking, vector making and Adobe Illustrator coloring. Even though I’m favoring Photoshop colored illustrations lately, this process still makes nice and completely risazable illustrations, good for any format. Plus: I like the face of the white collar!

When the Web 2.0 bubble will pop

After all this pencil work, there will be ink: this illustration / doodle finally gains back some black bold lines. I enjoy adding some extra details to illustrations with a 0.1 pigment liner (Staedtler, of course). Not really sure about the humor, though.
